View Full Version : Open Apology

I wanted to just take a quick moment to post this open apology to the members of this board. I've been catching myself on more than a couple of occasions, basically just being an asshole. This behavior has made its way into a few of my recent posts, though I've been conscious enough of others feelings and viewpoints to delete many before actually hitting the [SUBMIT] button. So I'd like to apologize to anybody that I may have offended over the past couple of weeks.
I could throw some lame ass reason out there that I have "such and such going on in my life", and that is the reason for my being a dick...But I don't buy that when others try to pawn that crap off on me, so I won't insult anybody elses intelligence by trying to make the same excuse.
I have the same option as everybody else to go into another forum, or entertain myself with the multitude of favorites that I've got saved in my browser. But coming into a board where everybody is learning from each other and trying to be our best, isn't the place for me to be practicing my skills of backhanded character assassination, or belittling somebody else’s knowledge of training methods.
So, for what it’s worth…I’m sorry that I’ve been acting like a dillhole.

I haven't noticed this with you, though I think it's often an inevitable progression of internet posting. I have 50k posts on another forum and (it was an off topic forum) as time went on my tone was becoming worse and worse. It feeds upon itself, too. Nasty people just breed more nasty people. FWIW I've found the forums here to be VERY civil. I've also been mostly staying out of OT forums of late, spending 90% of my posting time either at runners world (only responding to running topics) or here engaged in actually fitness topics.

Yah, I've kinda noticed my own tone being rather bitter lately on here as well...I'm w/ you Kino, I'll work on it.

FWIW Kino you have not been rude to me at all. If you were I would have told you. :)

I do applaud you for an honest and genuinely caring statement, however. Shows people how nice of a person you are. :tucool:

Can't say i'm one of the huge forum junkies here that reads every thread/post but i've never personally seen you be insulting or aggressive towards a person in any of your responses - well, not more so than anyone else here :p

Health & Fitness is such a hotly debated topic in the world that many innocent discussions can often become volatile, probably doesn't help that words alone can't always convey the proper tone of our thoughts and responses...

…I’m sorry that I’ve been acting like a dillhole.

i know dillholes...I happen to be a professional dillhole, and you sir are no dillhole :p

it's all good in da hood man. From the responses youve gotten thus far in this thread, obviously your positive influence is more widely know than any "dillholeedness" (my own word just made it up thank u very much :claphigh: ) you may have exhibited
