Hello all,
I am an avid squash player. I usually play with good players so there is a lot of running involved, and each session lasts ~45 minutes. How many times in a week is it recommended to play squash (or any other sport)? I have read that if you play too much, it can hamper muscle growth.
Training schedule: workout 5 times per week. Weights for ~40 minutes, Cardio: 25 minutes, Abs every alternate day. With weights, i focus on each body part per day (chest, arms, legs, back, shoulders) with 5 sets for each part. 1 day goes towards squash or at times, badminton.
My stats: height: 6ft, Weight: 177 pounds, waist: 36". Muscle wise, I look skinny and have begun to get some improvements.
Goals: Lose the tummy and ass fat.
Diet: Vegetarian. Manage 1800 - 2000 calories per day with approx. 120 gms protein. I try to keep fat calories to 20% and have begun clean eating since two weeks.
Thank you all.
Hemang.
