View Full Version : I hate to see my home gym go ...
JeremyLikness Mon, August 15th, 2005, 11:08 PM ... but it's not going to fit after making the 2,000 mile journey to our new place.
I just put the whole thing on e-Bay.
:bb:
It'll be in the local gym until we get a bigger place and purchase the new gym (I hear Titan makes a good one :) )

I thought you had just moved to SD last year? I remember seeing pictures of your place and backyard sauna on here somewhere. Why the move to Fla if I may ask?

It's the picking up after the fact that's a problem...
Welcome to the neighborhood.

Skoorb Tue, August 16th, 2005, 01:59 PM Did you see how much it would cost to ship? I realized that with mine unless I moved pretty close I'd have to dump it as well. I think used weights sell very badly so it's not really something you can get much money back with :(
Xander Tue, August 16th, 2005, 05:30 PM If only I had room....and money....and some more money....and even more room....sigh
Those dumbbells caught my eye but shipping them up here to Alaska would kill me.
1FastGTX Tue, August 16th, 2005, 05:31 PM If I had the money and the space in my home I'd make a day trip with a UHaul for this Jeremy (I'm in Orlando). Unfortunately, I do not have either of these. It's a pretty darn good deal though. Good luck.
JeremyLikness Tue, August 16th, 2005, 05:36 PM Yes, we moved last year.
Few reasons we moved from South Dakota, the main being:
1. My seminar practice is growing and it is expensive and inconvenient for people to fly to the midwest to attend
2. In addition to me flying out for speaking engagements, I also launched a new onsite training service, and so being able to be close to a major airport to fly out from became a priority
3. My wife is in real estate and wanted a better market (can't get much hotter than St. Pete)
4. It made sense to come here because we have family to stay with until the SD home closes
