It's only frozen water. I can't see it having any impact that water wouldn't.

Well, the body has to warm the ice, get it to body temperature before it can be dispersed. Just see it slowing down the process, thats why i ask, specially with all the either hype or legitimacy surround hydrolyzed whey entering muscle cells
