i've had a fitday journal, and i was wondering how much you should up your caloric intake on exercise days.
say, for example, its 10 pm and you've eaten 1500 calories and you go for an hour long run. should you eat an addition 500 calories that night? (i know this is a little ridiculous but if you use a calorie counter that is how it is shown in the journal [that you haven't eaten 500 calories extra that you "earned"])
i also know weight watchers does this method.
i know it makes more sense to eat more on days your working out, but what if you up your caloric intake and then don't work out?
i'm not actually too personally concerned as i am just confused in general. thanks!
