How much protein should we eat for body weight. I heard 1 gram/kg of body weight. So how many kg in 105 pounds??

Members here have different opinions on how much protein is optimal. For me, 1 g per kilogram is plenty. 105 pounds is about 47 kg. So, a 3 oz serving each of chicken breast and salmon steak, plus two large eggs will meet your target.

Well, you SHOULD be happy. :D

You don't have to adopt a diet that you don't enjoy just because other people say that's the way you should be eating. Clean up your diet slowly to include the healthiest foods available.

Some people would say that you should aim for 1g of protein per pound of body weight, but I personally get better results on about half that amount. We're all different, and we all react differently to different programs, so choose your strategies accordingly.

The 1 - 1.5 g protein / lbs body weight should be adopted based on lean body mass not total weight. You need to have a rough estimate of %bf.

The other caveat is that you need to be training hard....if you aren't crushing your muscles in a workout....you may need less protein.
