Do any of the measurements look like they were measured wrong? I measured myself using the picture of where all the measurements should be.
I'm 5'8 135 lbs and have been cutting for a couple months.
I'll try to post a picture soon, though all i can get are bad quality phone pictures.
For some reason i don't believe 7.64% BF
Stecman Fri, July 29th, 2005, 06:10 PM Did you measure it yourself.
I can't - I have to get my wife to help. That could account for some error.
What time of the day did you do it? It would make a difference if you did it after a workout and you had some pump.
What I've realized is mybodycomp is not going to be 100% accurate. Consistancy is more important. Measure it in a week and see what happens.
Swim Fri, July 29th, 2005, 06:27 PM Yeah i measured myself and I did it first thing in the morning.. if i had to guess for myself i would say 10% on me, that 7.64% seems really low
Stecman Fri, July 29th, 2005, 08:00 PM Post a pic so we can guess.
But mybodycomp seems to be really consistant.
What I mean is, if you went out this week and ate 2 pizzas and came back and measured yourself, mybodycomp would pick it up at the end of the week. Thats why I use it.

krosspyder Fri, July 29th, 2005, 11:34 PM lol
yeah man... its the E.E.B. otherwise known as the Emergency Echtomorph Bulk.
its fun i hear.
brezman Sat, July 30th, 2005, 09:45 AM gaws that would be sweet...
Anyway, mybodycomp.com generally sucks. If you don't have a ripped 6-pack you aren't 7.6%.
Everytime I see posts about bodyfat measurements I'm more and more convinced the mirror is the best method to use. It's just so damn hard to get accurate quantitative data.
JabbaTheGutt Sat, July 30th, 2005, 12:08 PM I checked out your numbers for fun (after converting them to inches first) and this is what I got for you from... HERE (http://www.healthcentral.com/cooltools/nutrition/homebodyfattest.aspx)
http://www.healthcentral.com/cooltools/nutrition/homebodyfattest.aspx :
" You have 8.5% body fat. You have 5.185 kilos of fat and 55.815 kilos pounds of lean (muscle, bone, body water). "
I checked that link because I often use it and it puts me pretty consistent or even a little lower with my BF scale's results. Once again, it's subject to fair, consistant & proper measurements.
Congrats on being so lean, now do what Krosspyder says and eat some "Blue Bunny" yougurt... :D :db:
Good luck & keep on movin',

Swim Sat, July 30th, 2005, 01:28 PM Okay here are some pictures as of this morning 7/30/05. Excuse the waist tanline which makes it look like there is a shadow there, and i seem to have big V or hip muscles for some reason.

any guesses, or does 8.5% look right?
Lost Sat, July 30th, 2005, 06:20 PM 8.5% wouldnt be too far off, i get the impression you may be slightly above that but not by much, you're looking good. more ab definition and such than your other pics! :tucool:
