Well As you can see, I am newb to this forums :D.

Well any how here is a short info of myself

height: 169 cm
weight: 223 pounds
age: 17

Well to starts things off I'm starting this thread to ask if my diet is unhealthy.

This is my day as been like for the past 1 month. (6-7 times a week, depending if I go out or not)

9:30-10:00 am : (depends when I wake up) watching television for like 1- 1 1/2 hours then I use Ab master, a machine I have that works the abs, I use this for like 4-7 min or so doin around 100-110 sit ups on it. After I finish my exercise I eat my lunch which is usally a bowl of salad with a little dressing. ( dunno how many calories/fat I am taking in at this meal)

2:00-4:00 : (depends when i feel like working out) I use the Gazelle for like 40 min and burn around 450 cal- 500 cal depending how fast I do it ( not sure how actuate the screen on the gazelle is but whatever).
Shower then off with the rest of my day.

7:00-8:00 pm: I have dinner at this time and everyday the food varies depending on what dishes are served. ( dunno how many calories/fat I am taking in at this meal)

examples of what i eat for dinner:

bowl of rice
boiled seasoned fish
chinese vegi
beef, white meat chicken. ( I always try and keep away from these but I have to eat meat for some iron right  )

1:00- 3:00 am:( depending when I start my exercise) I again exercise on the Gazelle for 40 min and burn around the same amount of cal in the afternoon, then once again i do about 100-110 sit ups on the ab master for 4-7 min.

After my workout I shower then sleep.

That's about it and I have 3 questions that I would love to be answered by my fellow JSF members.

1: Drinking around 2 L of water rght after a cardio workout unhealthy?
2: Cardio workout right before I sleep bad as well?

I was 243 pounds before I started my diet and now I am 223 pounds and I was wondering if I have lost some muscular mass instead of fat during the pass month of my diet.

Any help and suggestions to my diet would be greatly appreciated

thanks in advance. :tu:

To me, it seems like you aren't eating enough food and not often enough. At 223 pounds, you should be getting at least like 2300 cals a day. If you're losing weight, there's a good chance it's because you're losing muscle, not fat.

The food itself seems healthy, but you need to eat more.

would you say I lost some fat and any suggestion on what to eat on what time of day?

I'm pretty certain you lost a good amount of muscle.

Your diet is not very good, you do not eat nearly enough, and you do no weight training.

I would suggest you begin by reading some of the sticky threads at the tops of the various forum sections. That should start you off pretty well.
