First two you are close enough.

Refeed is a diet thing dealing with carbs but I will let someone who believes in it, answer you.

A refeed is something you do in the context of carb cycling.

Carb cycling means you cut down on carbs for three days (not like crazy, just cut down a bit), then have more of them (but also not a crazy amount) for one day so that you don't get into starvation mode.

It could be 40% of your calories from carbs on a low carb day, 60% on a refeed day. It's NOT about going low-carb as in ketogenic diets (As little as 30grams/day in the first stages of the Atkins diet I believe - that's another thing entirely).

Lots of people use carb cycling. It would particularly help people with a degree of insulin resistance (i.e., people who are carb sensitive).

It has helped me at one point, although it was nothing dramatic. Not everyone needs it, it depends on body type. You're more likely to respond well to it if you have a strong endomorph component in your body type. Ectomorphs would not need it as they typically can eat anything.

Personally, it's something I'll try again. My (online) coach said I overdid it the first time, as I had too few carbs on low days. I had results, but limited. But she would know about low body fat and she really believes in it. That's her picture:

(I tend to listen respectfully to people with bodies like that - I assume they know something I don't, or at the very least have more experience of it!)

First time I learned about this was in Tom Venuto's e-book, and he also looks like he knows about low body fat:
