John,

I've noticed that during your cutting cycle, you lost the fat on your quads and they seemed to get huge!

:claplow:

Does this mean that you were building lean muscle mass on your legs while cutting at the same time?? Have you noticed any other areas of your body build muscle while cutting also?

Btw, this is the same person who PMed you at Bodybuilding.com asking about calorie deficit & how your fat loss has benefited your skin, lol (I asked you what my calorie intake should be if I weighed 165 and you replied something along the lines "Eat around 1650-1700 in calories, it isn't rocket science man" and It's been working out great! I'm 150.4 Pounds now)

Hi SoundnAtmosphere,

I did manage to gain some lean mass on my legs during my last cutting cycle, but not a whole lot - just about 1/4". They look bigger because the fat loss makes them more defined.

My legs are, genetically speaking, by far my strongest area. They have always responded very well to weight training.

I did not gain any lean mass in my upper body during my latest cutting phase because my shoulder is injured (rotator cuff) and I was not able to do any upper body training.

Glad to hear you are doing so well! Keep it up. :tucool:
