Thank the lord for vacation! I'm off to Europe for two weeks and am looking for advice as to what I could do to continue my workouts. I'm training for a mini-Triathalon which is the first week in August.
Given this scant amount of info, does anyone have anything they do while they go away?
Thanks,

-C

Run and swim when you get a chance. Do pushups and pullups when you get a chance. Situps or crunches, too.

But enjoy your vacation. You workout to improve your life. Taking a little time off isn't going to destroy your progress.

I just got back from Europe for two weeks and, for once, didn't balloon on my vacation. I attribute that to a morning run I did every day (People normally say, including me, they'll workout on vacation but this time I actually did!). Weights I just took a total break from, but of course you can run anywhere. I think I got down 8 runs, one hike, and one walk, so all in all pretty good.

Push Ups: 8 - 12 reps / 3 sets (Chest)
Lateral Raises: 8 - 12 reps / 3 sets (Shoulders) *get some bottles & fill with water/sand
One-Arm Dumbell Row: 8 - 12 reps / 3 sets (Middle Back) * Use the bottles also
Tricep Dips: 8 - 12 reps / 3 sets (Triceps) * Between 2 chairs
Bicep Curls: 8 - 12 reps / 3 sets (Biceps) * Bottles
Dumbell Lunges: 8 - 12 reps / 3 sets (Legs) * Bodyweight/bottles
Calf Raises: 10 - 25 reps / 3 sets (Calves) * Bottles Again
Crunches: 10 - 25 reps / 3 sets (Abs)

Not great but something right?? Have a look on http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/exercises.htm and search do a search for bodyweight only exercises :tu: .

Hope this helps
