hi everyone, this is my first time posting
iam 5'9 1/2 and i weigh 160
a while back i was at 186, like a year ago
ive lost weigh but i havent lost it that fast.. i made a goal for myself and it was to reach down to 150.. i see myself and i know i can be in better shape than what iam right now iam not in too bad shape either. the thing about me is if you see my stomach i have a flat stomach and my arms too, its just my legs that are bigger than everything else. i wear a size 29 pants.. ive started to jogg every morning. i do a few laps around the park and walk a few... ive come a long way from shredding these pounds, right now im stuck at 160..ive notice i lose weight when im not doing any exercise. i dont eat much and i dont eat much junk food. ive gotten the abs on my stomach just by watching what i eat and like not eating late at night and eating fruits..for a while i would do sit ups and it seemed impossible to lose any weight at all.. right now i jogg in the mornings and i go play basketball in the evenings and do a bit of jumping rope at night... am i doing too much exercise? how much should i do? should i run jogg everyday or take some time off? i really want to hit my target at 150 but i havent been going down.. also how can i slimm my legs? someone please help

your help and advice is grately appreciatted
thank you

If your fit your legs are lean muscle. But you don't like that your upper body is too small. Solution start weight training. If you don't eat enough calories that might explain why you upper body is small. Your body ate the muscle. Don't focus on weight but body composition.

That's off the top of my head i made a number of assumptions lol

Do you know your calorie intake per day? And you Basal Metabolism Rate?

nope sorry i dont know my calorie intake.. im pretty dumb when it comes down to countin calories and all i havent kept track of that.. my legs have always been bigger than what like my rest of my body is... if you saw me from just my waist up youd think id have skinnier legs, then you see my legs and theyre pretty big.. well maybe not too big i guess, i wear a size 29 which is getting really hard to find any pants at the stores :d_mad: ...uhmm how about, how much work out do i need to atleast cut down to 150?? ive made it a goal to get there and right now im jogging in the mornings and i go play basketball in the evenings... i really never do any weights because i dont want to be all big ive mostly just been a small guy but i like it because when i play sports im usually the quickest.. also.. ho wmany days a week should i jogg ? how can i lose 10 more pounds ?

thanks you...

You would have to eat like a cow and weight out very hard for a longtime to get big . I recommend you weight train 3 days a week. If you don't like it learn more about your caloric intake and start eating right. If you do all 3 diet/weights/cardio you'll will be able to control you body composition very well.

Has with your cardio its hard to say if you don't know your cal intake if you plateu with that amount of excercise you body could well be in starvation mode.

YOu know if you lift some weights your not gonna get super huge huh, its all genetic, for most people your size is already predetermined.

I don't see why you would want to get down to 150. You say you're lean and have abs. Why don't you weight train and possibly do a clean, slow bulk and add muscle. You'll undoubtedly look better.
