Hey all:

I was walking through the aisles of a local discount and liquidation store in Eastern Maine (about 1 hour from my house) over the weekend and noticed PALLETS UPON PALLETS of TwinLab MRP Nitrate3 Fuel. The original (discount) price on the stuff was $25 US a box but they are closing it out at $12.50 US a box. Each box contains 20 packets. It's available in coffee, chocolate and vanilla -- the store had mostly coffee but I was able to find quite a few boxes of chocolate and vanilla after looking around a bit more.

=== TwinLab marketing blurb ===
Product - a great tasting nutrient replacement powder combining a scientifically advanced 42g AminoPlex protein blend, whole grain carbs/high in fiber, superior essential fats including EPA/DHA, and a unique NO (nitric oxide) delivery system.

Result - an anabolic and anti-catabolic potentiator that provides greater nutrient delivery, enhances protein synthesis and decreases muscle protein breakdown.

Science - Research suggests that the protein blend gives between 4-6 hours of heightened serum amino acid levels. The superior Arginine AKG, when combined with whey protein, enhances nitric oxide for greater nutrient delivery, when used in connection with a diet and resistance training program.

Anybody ever use it? I'm usually very skeptical of cheap protein powder but this stuff appears to be quite good from what I have read. Should I head back this weekend and buy some of it? I think the best before date was sometime in late 2006 or so.
