Trex_Lean_machine Tue, July 5th, 2005, 07:03 PM Is it possible to have a cheatmeal every week and lose overall 2 lbs fat. Most of the weight gained after eating the cheatmeal is water but can losing 2lbs fat be done ?
im currently doing weight 3 times and cardio 4 times a week.
Thanks.
tennisball Tue, July 5th, 2005, 07:16 PM Depends what you ate for the week, and depends on the cheat. If you eat too much cheat, you are setting yourself back.

It's possible. Because I've done it! It all depends on the your diet overall (total weekly caloric deficit) and your training.
Trex_Lean_machine Tue, July 5th, 2005, 07:20 PM I normally eat around 1800 calories per day, would it be possible to lose 2lbs body fat per week, which includes eating a chealtmeal ?

It's definitely possible. I have a cheat day every week, and one week by my estimation I lost 2 1/2 lbs of fat. I eat around 2300 cals/day.
Trex_Lean_machine Tue, July 5th, 2005, 07:26 PM my mainetenance calorie intake is around 2300, so the overall calorie deficit is 3500 (1 lb fat), but i do HIIT 4 times a week for 21 minutes, roughly burning 1500 calories per week.
would it still be possible to incoporate 1 cheat meal per week, if i do would i need to increase HIIT time/intensity so i could burn 2 lbs fat ???
thanks
bradh Tue, July 5th, 2005, 07:36 PM Its possible yes, but you just have to monitor your results or lack of and adjust accordingly.
Trex_Lean_machine Tue, July 5th, 2005, 07:39 PM so what are you guys favourite cheat meals ?
jbob Tue, July 5th, 2005, 10:56 PM Steakhouse, Mexican food or a very good hamburger.
Trex_Lean_machine Wed, July 6th, 2005, 06:26 AM I personally think having a cheatmeal is more psychological - 'mind over matter'.
Our brains have been conditioned for years eating all this junk food, so it will be hard, but some people can just stop it, however others cant.
i wonder if there are people who do have serious problems with cheatmeals ?, because eating junk is like an addiction due to the quick high we get followed by an immediate crash to rock bottom morale.
BigL Wed, July 6th, 2005, 11:11 AM I have one cheat meal every saturday and sunday night (followed by desert) and I lost 2.5 pounds last week.
