i know that the ratio of carbs eaten to water stored is 1:3, but my question is how long does that water stay with you? like over the coarse of the week if i ate 2100 g of carbs (working out to 300/day) does that mean i'm holding in 14 lbs of water? (2100*3/454=~14) or are these what i burn while doing cardio? and does this mean if i went a week without carbs i would lose 14 pounds? not saying i'm going to do it, i'm not a particular fan of high protein but this is just a big mystery to me. thanks

Keep in mind that your body is about 60% water. So, if you carb load, you'll definitely retain some extra water, but considering that you're mostly water to begin with, I wouldn't lose any sleep trying to calculate what you're actually retaining from eating carbs. Your body will adjust automatically.
