tell me if im correct or off...

im trying to figure out how much fat i lost from the start and how much LBM i lost.

okay...

start -
wieght-245
body fat-34%
so..
83lbs fat, 161 LBM

now-
wieght-180
body fat-15%
so..
29lbs fat, 151 LBM

so this tells me that ...
83-29 = 54
161-151 = 10

since starting out till today ive basically lost 54 LBS of fat and 10 LBS of lean body mass.

this correct?

now since LBM also includes water.. and whatever else... along with muscle... i can safely say that i either did a good job and getting rid of water etc. and creating some muscle. i know i didnt have as much muscle as i have now ... so i know i built a little....got to have been.

I've done these exact same calculations. Tough part for me was knowing my bf% when I started. Most people tell me around 35% so that's what I've been using.

Start:
208lbs
35% BF
135lbs LBM
75lbs Fat

Today:
149lbs
17.3% BF
123lbs LBM
26lbs Fat

59lbs Lost
49lbs Fat
12lbs LBM

Lots of things to consider. How accurate was the initial BF% measurement and how accurate is the current? Also, alot of that muscle you had before was probably skeletal muscle used to keep your body from collapsing. I think some skeletal muscle mass is lost but then replaced with all the muscle you've added under the skin by weightlifting.
