I have a combination (normal to oily, sometimes dry) skin type, with some mild acne on my face, shoulders and back. I want to buy some of these products to clear up my skin and keep a healthy complexion. Would anyone have any recommendations of which products to use or maybe a combination?

Thanks

I don't know about all of those products. My son had issues with acne, and my issue was with red, dry flaking skin (enczema on my face) ... this is what cleared it up completely for us:

When you take a shower in the morning, use a cleanser followed by a hydrating creme when you get out. When you shave, don't use an alcohol-based aftershave, it irritates and dries your skin out.

Also, DO NOT use a facial mask or facial scrub more than once a week, in fact, I'm not that big a fan of facial/body-scrubs altogether.

Before you go to bed, clean your face again combined with a hydrating nightcreme.

Alot of skin problems go deeper than the skin and can stem from hormones and diet. Find the best dermatologist in your area, one that doesn't just dish out Retin-A to everyone with acne. Sometimes all the skin care products in the world won't do diddly for your acne.

Yes, offcourse. Proper nutrition is also very important. Forgot to mention that.

I was one of the lucky teens and never really had a problem with acne. However, I did have the occasional breakout (and I still do at 29 yrs). I noticed that for me, harsh skin cleaners and acne washes actually made my skin more irritated and caused the breakouts to last longer and/or get worse. For me, just good ol' fashion Ivory soap has kept me clean and neat.
