For 25 years I was an ectomorph:
very lean, couldn't gain weight no matter what and I ate anything I wanted.

Now I seem to be an endomoroph. I have a lean lower body and all of my fat is on my upper body. Fat seems to be budging now. I lowered my carbs to 30% and stepped up my cardio. But apparently, I became an endomorph when I hit 25. I'm 33 now and this fat is just saying "screw you dude. If you want me gone, I'm going to make you bust ass and then some!"

Is it possible my body type just flip-flopped?

its genetic. your metabolism has slowed. intense cardio will help keep you burning calories throughout the day as well as more muscle. have you kept off the weight you had lost? i remember you had lost a ton.

Yes. I fluctuate b/t 134-132. Water I'm sure. I'm doing a combo of 45 LISS cardio on lifting days and 20 HIIT on non-lifting days to keep my body pretty well f-up! :p Walt mentioned carb cycling...this is apparentlt afftective. I haven't tried it yet

I started at 155lbs and around 35 or so % fat. I was down to 20 a month a go.

Mr. Mauldin,

it has been a while. Have you ever considered an 8 week bulk? That could really get your metabolism roaring and lower/maintain current body fat if done correctly. I think this may be just what you need to ditch the body fat! :tu:

Yup! I agree it is time for you to bulk and add on some muscle.

I never thought about it. Thank's. I will seriously consider it. I'll do some research. I'm currently reading Tom Venuto's book which I love by the way. This sounds like a great ieda. I just figured I wouldn't bulk until I lost the fat. I have stepped up my cardio bla bla bla. I've basically revamped and found the key for me. FINALLY Damitt! God what a long strange trip it has been just to find this one piece. When I started, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. But it was as simple as eating all natural foods...no processed foods, lowering carbs to atleast 30% and doing atleast 5 days of cardio to burn the fat.
