Hi there! I really need some help with this, ok so 4 months ago I underwent surgery for a cyst on my ovary. Afterwards I lost a lot of weight and muscle. I guess when I began to feel better I was scared to gain back the weight plus extra, so I started a diet. Now I'm 5'4 105 lbs and a vegetarian. I do cardio and weight training 3 days on, one day off. I feel I am too skinny but dont want to have a huge wight gain because I fear my metabolism has slowed down due to the rapid weight loss! Help! Here's a sample of what I usually eat

7:30- 1 cup cereal
1 cup "lite" soymilk
1 banana
1/2 an orange

10:30-1 scoop whey protein

1:00-salad
1/2 pita bread
2 TBL hummus
random veggies on pita

3:00-4 baby carrots
1/3 cup cottage cheese

6:00- 1/2 cup brown rice
tofu
salad
loads veggies like brocolli, green beans, etc...

;) I think what you should do is start to measure your weight and food intake, or at least just your weight & BF% once a week. Then if you don't want to log your cals, protein, carbs etc, you could just write down the foods you eat in a day and measure your weight either daily or weekly. That way you can see if you are gaining weight too fast, and which foods your body reacts to etc.

For instance if I eat regular pasta instead of wholemeal, I gain water weight like crazy.

Don't be upset if you get this, as John Stone says, drink more water and you will get rid of it.

Hope this helps, but you are in the right place for advice ;)
