I've been experimenting with my new espresso maker, and I just read elsewhere on the forum that some people put protein powder in their coffee...intrigued, I started messing around and discovered a DELICIOUS vanilla cappuchino made with soy milk

Ingrediants:
50% espresso (or standard coffee would work too)
50% soy milk
Generous amount of Cinnamon
1/2 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder

I steamed and foamed the soy milk with the espresso maker, but that's optional, not sure how it affects the taste, but does make it seem fancier :D

Tonight I'll make another batch and throw it in the fridge to try it cold

This should be a great pick-me-up to take to class!

the heat or whatever is in the process to heat the coffee grounds go through doesnt affect the protein powder in a negative way?

Hmmm...I didn't consider that. I don't add the powder till mixing, so it avoids the EXTREME heat...but fresh coffee is still pretty hot, so I guess it could be a factor. Any experts out there know the answer?
