I use an olympic bar at home to deadlift. On one side the hex bold that fits inside the end of the sleeve comes loose while I lift, and the whole sleeve tries to slide off the bar. Between sets I re-tighten the bolt, and tediously repeat the process.
Has anyone else come across this? Any suggestions?

Haven't had the problem to that extent yet but maybe you could take it off & put some "Lock tight" on it - it's good for loose nuts & bolts, etc...
Good luck,

Thanks, Jabba.

Superglue it on there? Or maybe get a new olympic bar? Is it time for an awesome Ivanko bar that holds like 2000 lbs?

I'm not sure how soon I'll be pulling 2K. 1000 would be awesome!
Would you recommend gluing the sleeve to the bar, or the bolt into the end of the sleeve?
