Hey, I recently decided to begin my transformation. I posted pics and starting stats under media gallery. However, I've decided to see if anyone else is interested in a challenge. I want to make it simple, the person with biggest change in appearance wins.

Would anyone be interested in this visual cutting challenge? Let me know.

Age: 20
Height: 6'
Weight: 198.6

Fosse and I are starting today! We will go from June 22th, until December 22nd. The guidelines as of right now are that you post a picture the first of every month... free free to post more than one picture per month. This challenge is open to whomever is interested. Those partaking in this challenge can start today, however if you are interested and don't mind being a little behind we will accept you up until the the first of July.

We are open to any suggestions, ideas and modifications of this challenge. So let us know!

Fosse, you look great! Don't know how much further you have to go, so your overall transformation might not be as noticeable as mine (I've got a ways to go). You look like you are almost there! This should be fun. All others are welcome to join!

Well, last night I cooked up a bunch of boneless/skinless chicken for the coming week(s). I used the ol' georgie and I put on montreal chicken spices, and some basil and a little bit of oregano. I must say it is delicious. Also, I have a huge thing of oatmeal. I've got my whole grain bread (this bread is seriously out of control, I swear sometimes that there are twigs in it, literally!!) I've got my peanut butter. I've got my Kashki (sp?) cereal, I've got my GNC Mega Multivitamin

I need some cottage cheese, some bananas, some whey protein powder, some almonds.

Any other suggestions on foods that are small and easy to snack on and good for cutting? Just as a small inbetween meal?

Well, I'm at work and just finished lunch.... it's only been two days and I'm feeling good and pumped already. :)

Also... anyone else wanting to join the challenge please do! I was thinking if enough people are involved once the challenge is over everyone could vote on who they think has made the biggest transformation. Just an idea! Keep up the good work Fosse. :)

Just a multivitamin and whey protein powder... I am going to take recommended amounts. Personally, I think that I'll be doing this 100% on my own as well.... supplements are just a part of the diet. I'm not sure what kind of protein powder I'm going to get yet... but I love the GNC vitamin.

my name is dave and i'm from michigan, in the united states. actually, i haven't been doing any military presses... but if it looks that way then nevermind i just said that ;)

as of right now, all i've been doing are concentration curls of 25-30 lbs with dumbbells. and placing the dumbell behind my head and lifting (don't know the proper name) for my triceps. i also do pushups and crunches daily... as well as my cardio (ran 4 miles yesterday... felt great).

i need to work on everything: my diet (refining it and having more meals per day), my weight training (a new ymca is opening in our area and it is amazing, i'll have access to any weight training exercise imaginable, as well as a track, a pool, raquet ball courts, bikes, ellipticals, etc.) and cardio (need to be more effective and bring my heart rate down as i have always been a competitor i sometimes find myself "racing" other people and pushing myself harder than i should and not staying in my suggested heart rate zone. this is the hardest.)

however, i've got a plan and i've started... i'm sure like all of us we are constantly "refining" but actually doing SOMETHING instead of sitting around before you have the perfect plan is how you get the ball rolling.

looking good as well fosse.. what are your plans? are you going to continue to cut or are you going to start bulking?

Oh and the sun burn doesn't hurt really... it just feels like I'm on fire.

I hear ya Fosse. My body is pretty sore as well, but it actually feels pretty good. I've been sticking to my cardio plan, and my dieting plan and I'm proud about that. Also, I've noticed an increase in energy and not that I was ever depressed but I've noticed I feel happier and less stress.

Tomorrow is the first and I urge anyone else that is interested in joining this challenge to hop on board and join us in our journey from changing our bodies from June 22nd - December 22nd, or in your case July 1st. I was hoping more people would be interested and then we could all vote at the end on who we think has made the biggest and most drastic changes (for the better) in appearance.... and obviously achieving their physical changes in positive, healthy ways.

However, if it is just the two of us Fosse it will be fun nonetheless and we can push eachother. I've got my second cardio workout to do later this evening and I'm hoping it will be a little cooler in Grand Rapids today. Here are some pictures from today.

Hey Doug!

Glad to have you join us! No rush for the picture. If you have any ideas, modifications or additions to the guidelines or format of the challenge let us know. I'm looking forward to competing and most importantly staying motivated by seeing your progress, as well as Fosse's.

Good luck Doug! :claphigh:

Thanks for the welcome.

I don't really have any other suggestions. I like the concept of the biggest change. I think I have an advantage though. Fosse, you look good now, so it's going to be harder to show a change. And, Dave, I weigh a little more than you, and I am shorter than you. But, if we all stay with it, we all win.

Both of you said you were going to do this challenge without much in the way of supplements. I am currently using Whey protein (2 servings per day), multi-vitamin, and fish oil. I have however tried a bunch of things in the past, including creatine, v-12, HMB, and ZMA. Right now I am all about cutting, so I don't have any immediate plans to use any other suuplements. However, when I start hitting the weights harder, I know I will want to at least use creatine. Do you guys have any problem with that? If you are looking to do a 'clean' challenge, I perfectly understand. :tucool:

fosse, take your time, and get things back in order. We need you at your best.

I have been doing a pretty good job of getting my diet in order. My morning cardio (which I want to start doing every day) has been sporadic (just not getting enough sleep). I am trying to clean up a bunch of things in order to get to bed earlier, but that is easier said than done.

My weight this morning was 198.0 lbs. I took a few pictures, but my camera's flash doesn't do a great job by itself, so I need to hook up my external flash. I'll try this tomorrow, so hopefully I can post my 'beginning' pictures (as far as the challenge goes).

Dave, how are making out?

Hey guys! Fosse, ya... take a break and come back strong. I've been great, I've been slacking a little bit this past week with the holiday week and all... however I am feeling good and am really happy and asd of toda I am once again focusing hard on the three main aspects, diet, cardio, weights.

Hope everyone is doing well! :claplow:

You're from England aren't you Fosse? I'm glad to hear you are okay.

It's been awhile since I've posted. I've been slacking, but I'm still in this. Will post more info and picture soon.

I may have been down, but I'm certainly not out. Life has been busy and I haven't been online at home because I simply just can't really afford it (high-speed) right now (but will be getting free dial up shortly). However, I sit in front of a computer at work so I am able to update more often that I have, I've just fell behind.

I had both legs off the bandwagon, but have yet to completely fall off. I am back with a renewed sense of health and determination and figured it would be great to start in the fall and unveil a breath taking body in the spring! :tu:

My biggest problem has been diet. I will be refining and executing this precisely and charting exactly what I eat. I will continue my multivitamin, and will be adding whey protein and possibly creatine. Will be on a cutting diet and will perform cardio 5 days / week as well as some weight training.

December 22nd is still the length of this challenge as of now and I'm going to go forward full force!

Fosse, feel free to get back into it if you'd like and it's still open to all others who are interested in joining. This isn't about numbers, it's about change... whether it's a physical change in size, a physical change in the way you feel or even an emotional/mental change! Let's just strive to look and feel good and live long and be happy!
