Does anybody remember the old Ferrigno fixed dumbells with the allen wrench fastener? I need to know what size key they use.I'm too lazy to lug around a 50 lb. dumbell to the hardware stores.

I don't think you can buy a sinlge hex wrench. They usually come in sets of 12 or so. I think you can get a cheap set for $5.00 or so.

These (http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=37861) are cool too.

Actually you can buy single hex keys you just have to find a decent hardware store. If you have friendly neighbors just ask them to borrow an allen key set and see which fits then you can go and buy one from the hardware store.

Ya know,i'm getting that alot lately.Ive never been much of a handy man so I went to my old gym in the local firehouse and they've got the key.I could've sworn it said M 5/16.The guy in the hardware store got a chuckle out of that too.I still don't know what the hell size it is.
