As of now all i really do is lift weights. ive started to bulk up nicely.

what are some good (free) activites i can do to get lean, improve my balance and agility and become more flexible

something like yoga would probably work for me but it costs money.
im going to start to run but that will hardly help my flexibility/balance

thanks!

Yoga doesn't cost money. There are plenty of books ... do a search for "Yoga" on amazon, or if you can't afford to buy a book, go to your library and check out a yoga book for a couple of weeks. It's not hard to teach yourself the basic stretches.

You might also want to consider some pilates. Same thing, check out a book from the library.

:) Pilates is a wonderful suggestion for balance, agility and flexibility. May I suggest Brooke Siler, specifically? She has books and audio CD's that are amazingly easy to follow and hopefully, available to you via the local public library.

Rollerblading! I'm a huge fan of rollerblading.... I play hockey and always try to improve my slalom skills. Being able to do slalom tricks has really improved my balance. I don't have any videos of me, but here's someone that I know that is really good at a lot of the slalom styles...

Double Crazy (http://funky.man.free.fr/English/Slalom/tricks/doublecrazy.mpg)
Nelson (http://funky.man.free.fr/English/Slalom/tricks/nelson.mpg)
X (http://funky.man.free.fr/English/Slalom/tricks/X.mpg)
Crazy (my favorite) (http://funky.man.free.fr/English/Slalom/tricks/crazy.mpg)
Volte (http://funky.man.free.fr/English/Slalom/tricks/volte.mpg)

Anyway, rollerblading is a lot of fun and isn't just about striding around on the sidewalk. It will help your balance and agility will go through the roof.

Capoeira will turn you into a lean, mean, balance machine if you get good at it.

Dude.

I've got the perfect lifting routine for you.

Men's Health Book of Muscle. It's a lifting book that encorporates more to lifting then just strength. Enhances balance, form, grip, flexibility(a little)...

I'm on the 10th week of the beginner program and it's already blowing my mind.

It does take patience though.
