Hey,
I'm 15, 130lb, and in moderately good shape, i work-out 2-4 times a week, but i have very loose pects, at first i thought it was just because i didnt do any chest specific work-outs, but after reading a few threads on it, im starting to worry about gynecomastia, can anyone give me a few ways to tell apart gynecomastia and just loose pects.

I had gyno about 10 years ago and trust me, they were not loose, but hard. It felt like there was a rock in them. Did you lose weight really quickly perhaps? I doubt if it's gyno

That's commonly referred to as "puffy nipples." If you want to know definitively whether or not it's gynecomastia you should see a plastic surgeon. The presence of gland behind the nipple (this typically feels rock hard) will push the nipple up, giving it the raised, or "puffy" appearance. You can find some more information at this website. (http://www.plasticsurgery4u.com/procedure_folder/male_breast/index.html)

If the puffiness is being caused by gland, then don't listen to some of the idiots on this website, it's not due to fat. Some people believe gynecomastia is a myth. But all of the weight loss in the world will do nothing if gland is causing your cosmetic issues. At the end of the day, however, only a qualified surgeon can properly diagnose and treat the problem.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I had gynecomastia from age 12 to 16, and back in '03 I had the glands surgically removed. Life's been great without them. Everything has healed out quite well. Very few minor scars.

I still have pictures I photographed before I went to the hospital and post-op pictures if you're interested.
