one of my close friends asked me what my suggestion would be about preparing for a PT test. He is a cop and noticed how succesful i am in my weight loss goal. He approached me and asked me what he should do to prepare for a PT test they are going to put him through in about 11 days. The whole test sounds like a test in which endurance is tested. He basically has to be able to sprint around 5 times and carry 160 pound dummies around a course. He is required to do this non stop untill he completes the number of times to and fro they require of him to complete. Im not sure on the number of times but its nothing impossible... just something someone in shape can do and probably someone not in shape will have trouble doing.

He told me that he can jog about a mile on the track non stop.... so thats indicates that hes got something to work with... as opposed to working from cold turkey. He doest drink a lot of beer and has recently started a wieght training program where his core is to be strengthened... about 4 weeks into it.

So what should he do to prepare for such a test? Im of the understanding that its basically an endurace test.... so he needs to prepare by upping his endurance. So how should this be done in about 11 days?
Crash course i know.... and it may not be enough time.... but whats the best that can come out of it?

A old runners saying " If you need to sprint 400meters, sprint 800meters."

meaning, he should aim higher for his goals, and when it comes to his tests he will be expectiing a challenge, and he will be able to compleate it no bother, get him to preform shuttle runs and sprints, get him to sprint as far as he can as fast ass he can, then 3 days later sprint twice the length he ran the first time and so on, but make sure not to sprint for at least 3 days before his tests, he should have a light run say 400 meters two days before his test.

i wish im good luck.

Not much he can do with just 11 days left. At this point, I would say the most important thing would be getting a good night's sleep the night before, and eating a healthy breakfast that morning with plenty of carbs.
