Hey everyone,
I'm three weeks into my plan, and have been doing tons of cardio, and am just starting with my weight program. My question is if there's any specific exercises I can do to focus on my outer calves. My inner calves are already quite large (proportionally i mean) and any calf exercise I do seems to just use the big muscle on the inside of my leg and none of the back or other side. When they're flexed or tight from a work out it's really obvoius (i'm not complaining, muscle is muscle, but if i can even it out i'd like to) I've put in 2 pictures of my calf, the first one is with the camera sitting on the inner side of my knee and shows the ridge that looks much more obvious in person (almost like a second shin), the second is of the view from the back and showing the smaller outside as best i can (it's hard to take pictures of your own calf flexed!)

Anyways, back to the question, what can I do to add muscle on the back and outside of my calves to even out the appearance?

Thanks!

Using a sitting calf machine and rotating my feet at different angles to focus on those muscles along with a lot of cardio worked for me (to get the diamond appearance).

i find running, a long jog not a sprint, builds the outer calf up a lot

/agree

i think it's something like pointing toes in builds outer calves and vice versa

awesome, I'm already doing quite a bit of jogging, I'll try to angle the toes on the seated calf raise and it sounds like i'll be on the right track. Thanks guys.
