hi
i've had a sore knee for the past 2 weeks.i haven't been able to do my lower body workouts or cardio..should i change my diet? less carbs or something like that
what's best in this situation?

I would lower carb intake. Mine is low now with my cardio b/c I have found carbs are what cause me to gain weight. Well the wrong ones anyway. Just make sure your carbs are coming from veggies and whole grains (but not overindulge). Start iceing your knee. I can't remember if its 10 on 10 off or what maybe someone can tell you that. Hope it gets better soon. :tucool:

You could lower your overall calorie intake by 200-400 a day, to compensate for doing less exercise, but don't lower it too much or your metabolism may slow down.

It doesn't matter whether you cut out more carbs, more protein, more fat, or a combination of all three - you just need to lower your overall calories.
