Are there any exercises that can help enhance your posture?
I work in the computer field so I've developed a slouch that I always have to overcompensate for while standing & sitting because I used to slouch real bad while sitting at a computer.
So are there any exercises out there that can help with your posture or make standing straight easier?
I always envy people with great posture and make it seem effortless, lol, they always look so much more confident.

I just spoke with a personal trainer this morning regarding this very topic. He told me that stretching before and after your workout is critical to maintaining flexibility, which you lose when you exercise more. (I know, I thought that sounded weird too, but thats what he said) He told me that strengthening the legs (specifically the quads) and hip flexors would aid the most in improving posture.

Yep, stretching is important for maintaining flexibility, because when you work out, you muscles will contract, and if you want to keep your flexibility (or even improve upon it), you have to do that stretching :) That's at least what I've heard everywhere

In my case the source of my bad posture used to be my weak lower back.
Just 4 weeks of serious deadlifts once a week (Max-OT style -- I knew how to do deadlifts and was doing them on and off before) have totally increased my lower back strength.
Your mileage may vary...

Try sitting on a swiss ball at work. Although you can still slouch on them, they make it easier to sit with perfect posture and you really notice when you begin slouching again. They help you learn to automatically sit up straight. Try it, I know many office workers who swear by them.
