whats the difference between light and moderate excersize... as well as hard excersize?

in the bmr calculator site that restes exposed me to ...

site (http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/harris-benedict-equation/)

its a difference in how many days..... is that it?

if i excersize 3 days a week ... no matter what i do... am i doing light exercize and therefore that affords me to calculate my bmr x 1.375?????

im just curious as to where i actually stand.... because if im trying to get 500 under my caloric maintenance level i need to know which one is best suited for the work i do.

ive been using the moderate and im doing fine..... but im curious about somethings.

i workout about 6 days a week.... not all days used for jogging and not all days used for lifting.

i may jog at 45 minutes fasted (75% max heart rate) 5 to 6 days a week... and i lift about 3 to 4 days a week. 2 of these days im concentrating on chest and shoulders and also do some ab work and this takes me about 45 mintues..... other 2 days are legs and back... squats... deadlifts... leg lifts etc. and sometimes i include ab work.... also... some of these lifting days i may go out right after i get done lifting and do a 25 minute low to mid cardio session.... i try not to do this on a lot of the days that i do 45 minute fasted cardio... so if i dont do 45 minutes fasted cardio on one day but i lift... i will definitly go do a 25 minute after lifting cardio session.

now... is this... from what you all can determine light, moderate, or hard?

thats my question because there is a fine line of the amount of food i take in in one day with respect to those different bmr calculations.

and if im not in the right area i could be taking in too little of cals or too much.

so far im going with the moderate activity level.... but if i could go with the heavy... then i can afford... in fact i need to up my cals even more.

I would say you can use the moderate level to calculate. Remember the formula is not perfect. Try it out for a while, if you are gaining, then drop the calories, if you are losing then up em'. Simple. I currently workout 5 days a week with a 3 day split(soon to be 4) and I use the moderate level. It has worked ok for me so far. How many calories are you currently taking in?

thanx... just checking man. im taking in about 1700 to 2400 cals a day.... depending on the day. i zig zag my cals. my bmr with moderate level says i should be getting in around 2800 for maintenance.
