Cause I don't... Look at your biceps. In the second picture they look slightly more defined, a deeper cut between the bottom of the bicep and the rest of your arm (tricep??)

Other than that, I don't see much either

To be honest I can't see any noticeable difference. You appear to be slightly leaner (esp. around face area) but its hard to tell because the two sets of piccies are in different rooms/light conditions. It's still an amazing transformation from first pics though. Have you re-measured body fat % recently?

Exactly. The first set is in the livingroom, whil the second is in the bedroom, but I'd believe 5.5lbs would be visible anyhow. Ok, so my scale is an old one, but it can't be that off

Oh, one more thing...why on earth is it called "lovehandles"? I'd say "hatehandles" is more descriptive cause I hate'em

I recently lost weight after increasing my calorie intake as well. I had been slowly cutting some weight since last June, and had dropped from 194 to around 182. I am 5'11". I was eating around 2300-2500 calories per day. My weight loss had essentially stopped.

A few weeks ago, I increased my calorie intake to ~2600-2900 per day with at least one day per week over 3000. I started dropping weight again, and am now down to 174. Actually, I think my weight drop has been a little faster than it should be, because it seems to have affected some of my strength in weight training.

I weight train 3 days per week (I'm following the Men's Health Magainze Homegrown workout series) and also run 4 days per week, currently averaging 20-25 miles for the weekly total. I used to do more HIIT-type cardio, but really enjoy the challenging steady-state runs in my very hilly area, so have switched to doing that exclusively as my cardio.

I can just reiterate what everyone else has said, a little off the waist, more defined bicep and a thinner looking face. Still, you're making damn good progress, and unless you've dropped/stomped on/run over/tried to mod your weight scale, I'd believe it!

Don't do that before you know how much you burn. I discovered that I burn about 2800 k cal. a day, and I ate about 1500 k cal a day. It is recommended that you eat 500-1000 k cal less than you burn to control your fat-loss.

I was absolutely on the borderline here, so I added 3-500 k cal.

You should do the same thing: Take a look at what you eat and how much you burn, and then adjust your diet.
