1 (56g) Pita bread, sliced in half and open (makes 2 pockets)
1/2 cup combined chopped mushrooms n bellpeppers
1/4 cup pizza sauce
4 oz turkey breast cutlet or 4 oz all white meat ground turkey cut in bite size pieces
1/2 cup cottage cheese
Italian spices (garlic, oregano, etc)

Put the meat and spices in a pan with a couple tablespoons of water and cook at medium heat, adding a bit of water everytime it gets low. (Keeps you from needing any type of oil.) Throw in the mushrooms n bellpepper. Keep adding just enough water to keep it all from burning. When the meat is cooked, let however much water's left in the pan cook off- then turn the burner off. Dump in the sauce, mix it all together. Then dump in your cheeze and mix it in. Nuke your pita bread for a few seconds, then fill the halves with your mixture.

Serving= both halves (using ground turkey):

Even 1/2 is filling, esp. if you serve with a salad.

Sounds pretty good. I do something along the lines of HotPockets, however mine is with the Ham and Cheese.. my favorite

1 Whole Wheat Tortilla
2-3 oz Lean Ham
1 Slice of cheese or shredded whichever

I'll just put the ham on the tortilla, cover it with the cheese, melt it in the microwave to make sure the cheese gets melted over most of the ham, then wrap it up in the tortilla and placing it on my George Foreman grill untill its got a nice golden crisp on the outside of the tortilla. It's amazing.. in fact I'm going to make one right now.
