I'm just putting in a request to limit peoples signatures to no more then 4 lines. I really, really, really, hate wading through posts where the reply is "Yes" and then there are 15 lines of signature.

This is of course my opinion but I'll bet dollars to doughnuts that others agree with me (and I'm sure quite a few disagree with me :)

But I *LIKE* sigs, just not obnoxious long ones.

It's like lawns. I like seeing peoples lawns, I wouldn't want to shut off my ability to see lawns, but I don't think folks should let it grow long, turn brown, and have weeds sprouting.

Oh well :) I guess I'll survive.

I'm fine with many lines in signatures. Text doesn't tend to bloat. Its the occasional HUGE image that some people have in their signatures that bug me. Post a linky to your pictures instead.

Since everyone has an avatar, there is really no need for pictures in the signature. Perhaps image linking could be disabled in the signature?
