Here are my first 6 week progress pics. Below are 3 pics. The first pic(shirt and tie) was me at my heaviest 235 lbs late last year)

The second pic (light grey pants) is me 6 weeks ago

The 3rd pic (dark boxers) is me today. I stumbled upon this site 6 weeks ago and all the information I read on the different threads here has really helped

I've had my BF% taken 3 different ways and have gotten readings all over the map. Can anyone who reads this post give me a BF% guess so that I have a good idea at what I'm looking at

You look pretty lean. I would say around 11 - 12%. I am not an expert though.

I bet with 12 weeks of cutting your abs would really show through.

Thanks for the feedback Carbon. I'll find out today. I get my body fat tested every six weeks at the gym. Both those pictures are completely relaxed and unflexed plus I took that pic last night after filling my system with water and food. I'll post my results later today to show where I'm at

6 weeks ago I was 203lbs 13.9% BF (which I think is a high reading)

Whats your program like mate? ? ? Could you tell us a little more about what cardio you do, when you do it, when you lift, how often per week. How many cals you eat, etc...

Thanks - Oh and well done, you look brilliant.

Gaz.

Wh0areume....thanks for the feedback. ACtually I'm impressed...you are dead on with my mybodycomp.com measurement 10.4!! Amazing
The calipers at the gym are lousy becuase she takes 4 measurements
arms, back and stomach... I'm extremely lean in every other spot in my body. My stomach (getting thinner) is probably the worst spot and I'm guessing the lack of measurements elsewhere is what makes the calipers higher

Gaz- I appreciate your feedback as well.
My program hmmmm well I guess I'll open this up for the critics too.

I'm 204lbs today and stand 6ft 1.5inches tall

I do cardio everyday Here's my current schedule

Monday- fasted cardio 7am...Treadmill 25- 30 minutes High steady intensity usually burn 500-650+ calories according to the treadmill average about a 6:15-6:30 mile

Monday Lunch Bi's and Tri's one heavy exercise of each muscle (r sets 6 reps)and then 4-6 additional exercises for each muscle 8 reps each NO rest inbetween sets
Monday night -softball 1 hour

Tuesday - Fasted Basketball 6am for 1 hour
Tuesday Lunch Back same program as Monday
Tues night golf walking for now but softball starts in a week

Wednesday fasted Cardio 7am same as Monday
Wed lunch- Chest Same program (lots of dumbells)
Wed night Another softball night

Thursday Fasted cardio 7am same as Monday and Wed
Thurs lunch Shoulders same program
thurs night Golf walking 9 holes

Friday Fasted Basketball 6am for 1 hour
Friday Lunch break Ahhhhhhh :claphigh:
Friday night golf walking 9-18holes

Saturday Cardio not fasted usually push for 6-8 miles high intensity but a little slower than the other treadmill days
Golf all day with cart!!!

Sunday
Golf in the morning with cart
Volleyballl at night

That's a good week for me Weather and other factors cause me to miss an activity or 2 during the week but that's my schedule.
If for some reason I miss cardio in the morning I make it up after work

My BMR is pretty high and with the amount of activities I do per day I have to eat a lot

I eat about 2500 clean calories per day I shoot for 40/40/20
I track my diet on fitday.com and am very careful. I've recently cut some things out of my diet like instant oatmeal so I think that should help the cutting. I make sure to eat very soon after my fasted cardio to avoid losing muscle and I eat most of my carbs in the morning and heavy protein after 3pm I also eat 6-8 times per day :eat:

I'm getting stronger in the gym and appear to be losing body fat. I also take caffeine in the morning 200mg and a vlumizer that consists of
Creatine and Glutamine.

I'm going to take a break for a week once Im through my supplements because I know I should. Truth is that I don't even want to!

Looking good Jojo. I'd say mid 10s to low 11s. Hard to tell the exact percent as everyone stores fat differently. That's a fair amount of activity. I hope that 2500 is enough for someone your size at that activity level. If you plateau, you might want to consider raising the calories slightly rather than cutting further. Otherwise, everything seems spot on! (Not to hijack this, but I tried to repsond to your last PM OoOGazOoO. You need to delete some of you old messages. Your inbox is full_

You're dead right Jsbrook... I was eating 1800-2000 calories and hit a plateau last session. 2500 seems to be working but I think I need to maximize my results by eating closer to 3000 beleive it or not. according to my calculations on an average day I burn 4000 calories or more!

Wh0areume- What a great game! If I see a BF guess thread like that, I"M IN!!

Well then, guess mine: http://forums.johnstonefitness.com/showthread.php?t=15707

And guess again after I post the new pics in a couple days :)

As for jojo, I would put it around 10% if thats unflexed, and thats truly impressive :) How about a side shot?

Matthew, I'd love to guess but I'm not seeing the pics. All I get are red x's

I'll see if I can get a side shot and a flexed shot on tonight

Just had my body fat taken at the gym I'll be posting my results in a minute

RESULTS!!!!

First of all....wh0areume, you are literally amazing! Truely a body fat guessing GOD. I was almost exactly the same as your guess for the caliper body fat% you missed by .02

The great news is that I dropped 2% body fat in 6 weeks! That's the best plummet I've seen yet. What's even more fantastic is that I actually GAINED 6LBS of muscle on top of that. So I lost 4lbs of fat and gained 6lbs of muscle. That's a big swing for me!!! :jumping:

The oldest stats I have had me starting at 18% body fat with about 40lbs of total fat at the end of last year

Today I'm 11.6% 24 lbs of fat Since then I've gained a total of 3 lbs of muscle (thanks to this last 6 week go around)

Everyone on this site has been so hopefull to my progress. I've learned so much over the last six weeks and it's clearly made a huge difference. I can't thank John Stone, as well as the John Stone fitness community enough!

well, you gained 3 lbs of lean mass, not nessarily muscle. muscle isnt THAT easy to create. jeremy likness had a good post on this.

and i tried my best without the back/side shots, which might explain the 0.2% error.

Yup-I can believe it. Sounds good-you seem to know yourself and what you need to be doing. Can't be too far from reaching your goals now. (at least your short-term goal). Good luck!
