Looking back on my report of fitday, almost every day I don't get enough Vitamin K.
Tell me about it - I googled it and figured it out it helps to not let you bruise -
Does your multivitamin have it?

I look up my vitamin and mineral information at about.com (http://www.about.com)
A easy to remember, as well as cheap, source of Vitamin K is Kale. Easy to remember because it starts with a K. It's also a good source of a few other vitamins and minerals.

Vitamin K function:
• Vitamin K is necessary for normal blood clotting and synthesis of proteins found in plasma, bone, and kidneys.
Vitamin K sources:
• Vitamin K is found in spinach, lettuce, kale, cabbage, cauliflower, wheat bran, organ meats, cereals, some fruits, meats, dairy products, eggs.
I found this info on http://www.nutristrategy.com/nutrition/ It also shows the sources and functions of other vitamins and minerals.
Just half a cup of boiled/cooked broccoli without salt gives over 300%RDA of vitamin K!
(i think the salt does something to the vitamin K because half a cup of boiled broccoli with salt gives hardly any vitamin K compared to that without salt.)

Fitday doesn't properly record vitamin K intake. You can't make a custom food with vitamin K levels, and if you look at the built-in foods, K isn't listed either.
I think it's just a bug.

I suspected that myself a couple of months ago. I added a whole bunch of stuff to my diet to try to increase my vitamin K, yet I was still falling short of fitday's target. I tried putting in some astronomical values of spinach etc, and still couldn't get it to say the right values, so I assumed that just maybe I was getting enough and fitday was wrong.
Can you give fitday feedback?
