I found a cheap place to get dextrose in 1kg bags. How many grams is 1/2 cup? What kind of cup measurement can I use? Thanks!

Betastas, I was about to post a very similiar question so I thought I'd just jump on your thread to consolidate. I dug the corn sugar out of my homebrew equipment. I'd never tasted it before because I was never sure how it tasted straight. Man it's good!

Anyway, are the grams by weight or volume? I put three TBS on my scale which measured about 40 grams. My target is 38 grams. Just want to make sure I'm doing this right.

grams are by weight. So 3 tbsp = 45 mL =40 grams?

I have heard that dex weighs approximately twice what whey does. So, for me to get 40g of dex with my 40g of whey, I just take 3 scoops of whey and 1.5 scoops of dex. Hope this helps.

I'm going to go buy a digital scale today. i'll give you guys a definate measurement of one wheyscoop of dextrose sometime this evening.
