Hi there... Just registered myself :)

I was thinking of emailing John begging for a forum, but didn't want to add to his, never ending, stack of unanswered emails ;)

Keep up the good work you two!

Very nice to meet you all, as well. :)

olbog, No, I can't take credit for that :) I'm pretty sure that John made the board because people emailed him and asked him to do so. I am rather amazed at the number of people here!!! LOL I've had an ezboard (not fitness related) for years and I don't think I have ever had more than 15 people on at once.

I am very glad John decided to do this. It really helps to have a place to interract with others who also share your interests, I think.

Lisa, will you be posting more info about your training and diet? John has previously mentioned the muscle you were able to put on. Im sure a lot of women out on the net would love to know how you were able to add some clean muscle!

Thanks for the welcome Lisa. I think John is very luck to have someone like you to encourage and support him. Although you 'can' do it on your own, its difficult when your significant other does not support you. It takes time to work out, and do all the web sutff and you obviously have comprimised in some way to let John do what needs to be done. Anyway, thanks both of you for putting this up!

Thank you lakergod and escher for the very nice compliments

corbint, I really haven't been working out lately and I've just recently started eating clean again (holidays and all) because I don't quite have the discipline my husband has. LOL
However, when I was working out, I basically followed the same workout schedule that John does, with a bit less cardio. I am feeling inspired to start my routine again now that christmas is over :)

I was really surprised at myself that I didn't gorge over the holiday turkey and potatoes etc. But there were all those leftovers..... :-)

Hey babe, will you go get me some more water?

I think we're becoming a little too dependent on computers... ;)

Hi Lisa! Your husband's page is even read crossing the big puddle

I see you sign with a "Animal Friends" sign, are you vegetarian? We may share recipes then!
I may begin a page just the opposite as your husband's, gaining weight :D

I'll explain myself: I'm 24 male 6'2'' and weigh around 120 lbs. Any advice?

Take care and nice to meet you!

Hi Lisa, and thank you for being such great support for John and then us! I was in here first time yesterday, and find it very interesting. Just impatiently awaiting for the womens forum, and maybe a startets forum. What the guys are focusing on arequite different stuff than us women, and new "dieters and exercisers" have different problems than those toning their tummy...
Thank you - Xray

Suzuhara,
I was a vegetarian for 12 years, but not anymore. The Animal Friends button is a link to my board, which is pet related :)

Xray, I'm glad you like the board! I see we now have a women's forum :claplow:

Hi Lisa, :)

I think its awesome that John has now created these forums for everyone to communicate in. I've been following the website for about a year now. Good stuff. :tu:
