First and Foremost. I am back. I got really discouraged after not seeing any Fat Loss for several months. I reached 15.7% BF in October. Needless to say I am still there. So it appears that I have been maintaining rather than losing.
I currently workout 6 days a week, which is 3 days of weights and 6 days of Cardio. My Cardio sessions are 40 minutes at about 70% intensity. One of the Personal Trainers at the Gym I go to thinks I am overtraining and need to cut back to 3 days cardio and 3 days weights and the Cardio should be no more than 20 minutes of HIIT.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what did you do to rectify it.
Thanks.

Your excessive cardio routine is shutting down your metabolism. Switch to what the trainer recommends and focus your energy more on heavy lifting. Plateaus are also broken even more so, with nutrition. How long have you been on your present diet or eating scheme. You may need an overhaul or just a slight adjustment in your macronutrient breakdown to kickstart results again.

i'd even go as far as stopping the cardio for 2 weeks, and then starting up again after that. your diet is probably another problem.

I too have platued for a while now, Im leveling at about 87-88 kg, but I did get down to 85kg a few weeks ago for about 6 days, but now im back up again, its getting weird, but maybe its just muscle cause I did start up weights and bodyweight training again recently.
