Just thought I'd post for fun. I have been working out for a few weeks. I weigh about 140-145. My weight changes frequently. My guess is water weight.

Still got about 25 lbs to go :(

Nice shot, you could use a little muscle gain, but you're not too far away from the look that chicks dig (if not there already). What is your long-term goal?

Get a haircut ;) haha. I'm just kidding. You're setting some real nice groundwork for that next 20-25lbs you plan on gaining. Make sures it's a clean 25 lbs, I had a little problem keeping mine clean. Went from 160-185 in 3 months but that was taco bell aided   Keep up the good work though buddy

The most cardio I get is walking between classes. One of my friends who is a girl who hasn't seen my with a shirt off saw that picture (with long hair) and freaked out and told me that I wasn't allowed to wear shirts anymore. I thought it was funny because I hate my body.

Oh and I did get a haircut. Infact I cut it myself in the bathroom because it kept getting in my eyes.

More recent pic. I blurred by face because I don't really think it looks much like me, nor does anyone else. The angle and everything must be weird.

Any about calories and stuff. I don't count it. Being 17 and having a fast metabolism I just eat anything and everything I can. Dinner tonight so far has been a 1 pound ribeye steak, a protein bar, a wendys burger, another protein bar, and some yogurt. Oh ya and 5-6 mushrooms on the steak. I think I might eat once or twice more before bed.

I would NOT recommend my diet for many other people, I just got lucky in the skinny department.

Dangit, I got online to do something real quick and thought I'd check JSF and now I forgot what I was getting on to do.

Thanks for the support! This gaining muscle stuff takes awhile :flex:

Nice progress! Yeah, I remember those days of eating like that (in the not too distant past, I'm 28). Anything I could find, at any time of day. Whole large pizza, no problem, followed by a double scoop brownie a-la-mode! Enjoy it while you can. At 17, you only have about 3 more years of eating like that before you begin to notice a little bulge around the belt-line.

You look great!!! And I especially like your arms! (well, your arms take a very large part of the picture, but heck, if I were you I'd show them off too! :D )

But... But why did you cut your hair.... :d_frown:

My hair was getting in my eyes. Some people wish I left it long and some people like it better. Aubrey acctually commented that I resembled "the guy from Fight Club" so that's not a bad thing!

My temporary goal is to hit about 150 lbs and then go from there. I'd like to be there before the end of the school year which is probably very unreasonable but I'll shoot for 150 and maybe I'll fall a little short. Oh well.

Thanks for all the support but now it is time for filet mignon (sp?). I work in a meat department of a grocery store so I get meat CRAZY cheap.

What breed of beef? I could so do with some fillet cuts at the moment... filet mignon, standard fillet, porterhouse, t-bone... *drool* Shame I would literally have to sell parts of my body to afford them. Damn my student funds!

Fantastic progress by the way!

A pound of filet mignon for $1. A ribeye for $1. I can get any cut of meat for whatever price I want. The store director forced me to move to meat and I thought I was going to hate it because it requires alot of cleaning and I only work the closing shift but from about 7-10 I have hardly any customers so I steam shrimp and tilapia and make my own little feast.

ANYWAY, the filet mignon was good last night.... mmmm protein. And I got off creatine and now my bench is down slightly :d_mad:

Lucky lucky lucky!! I'm a dam bagger at my store. I would LOVE to be in the meat department for a cheap price on steak. Man a dollar for a pound of filet mignon is crazy!!

I also cut my hair last week :) But I let some lady do it, shes nice. Dam hair gets in my eyes. Only 7 out of 8 people liked my new hair cut haha.

I'm still trying to decide if I like it or not. It is alot easier to manage, it probably just needs some tweaking and trimming. Ugh just got a ticker for 60 in a 40. Doh.

Anyway. I had some more steaks with me but the cop had trouble with his new computer thing and it took FOREVER so now they are all warm and no good. There goes $.50

The reason you don't look the same is because the picture was taken in a mirror, so compared to other pictures of yourself, it's inverted. :D

Yes, gaining muscle mass takes time, but you're doing a great job. Here's an article I wrote that has lots of resources that you may find helpful:

Oh, and I can empathize with your shirtless story. My fiancee is the same way about me. Check out my "3 Stages of Shirtlessness" page. Hehehe, be sure to click on all the links. :D

Keep up the good work. You have the ability to produce an impressive physique. Stay consistent and disciplined and you'll be amazed at how much difference just 1-2 years can produce.

ReTro2499, did I read that right?! Man, you have nothing to be ashamed of and every reason to be proud. You've got a killer physique for someone your age. I wish I had looked so good when I was your age. :p Alas, I shall have to strive to be the best me I can be at this age. :D

Kudos, ReTro2499, you will reach your goals in no time. I'm sure. :claplow:

Retro,
How old are you? You're built like my son. Believe me,put some time into training and you'll be real happy with what you see. For lean guys it takes a little more work to gain but every ounce of muscle gained is visible to the eye. You've got great potential!!!!!
