i used to exercise everyday. run at least a mile, lift weights, do crunches.....EVERDAY!!!! then i stopped running when winter started and that also led to me hardly ever doing my other wourkouts and to eating junk food allthe time. well i started working out again to lose the fat id gained. so now 1 1/2 months later, im skinny again but now exercising is a lot harder and i cant get back into the habit of exercising/eating right EVERDAY. and i need to get some more muscle but this lack of motivation is ruining everthing. Once you make the first couple of steps in the right direction, you will find it easier and easier to maintain progress. Start eating extremely clean for just one day, deny yourself all junk food, be extremely extremely disciplined. You will find that when you wake up the following day, you will be less likely to eat junk because you won't want to ruin what you currently have going. Once you are doing this for about a week, you won't think of looking back.
You'll be feeling much better, you will feel more energetic, and most importantly you won't want to stop.
