View Full Version : A lesson in cheating... and a new craving for, oh, say, lettuce.

My stomach told me last night that I was "done", as I was lying on the bathroom floor in extreme discomfort from the chinese food I had overstuffed myself with an entire 8-9 hours earlier. My stomach was still distended, and I still felt full, but I knew that as nauseous as I was, I'd never get the relief of being able to upchuck it and get it over with.

I had gone for a few days indulging my persistent (I'm talking month-long) cravings for a variety of things, making sure to try and space things out and not go over my maximum maintenance calories (and I still worked out). I had my ice cream, I had my potato chips, I had my donuts, I had my twinkies, I had my chocolate, I had my pizza.

The good news is I don't crave any of the stuff anymore and I haven't gained any actual fat (just some minimal water weight, as usual).

The bad news is that I'm never going to view sweet 'n' sour pork the same way again... now that I've pictured it lodged firmly in an uncomfortable portion of my intestinal tract...

you're the first person I ever heard of that had a craving for lettuce......would that be "Iceberg" or "Romaine"?......

I suppose Iceberg, although basically what I mean is that I can only imagine eating fresh, simple things like veggies after the unfortunate "Chinese" "Food" incident.
