View Full Version : Ultimate Cheat Day - Ugh....I'm Full
JKulp42757 April 24th, 2005, 10:08 PM Well I ordered some steaks & burgers from OmahaSteaks.com for my cheat meal this weekend (my brother came over to watch boxing) and things went downhill from there..LOL
Within the last 24hrs I've ate the following:
Two 5oz Filet Mignons
Two 4oz bacon cheeseburgers
One 5oz Top Sirloin Steak
One 3.5 oz Hot Dog
One 4.5oz Stuffed Sole (crab & scallions)
Two Rolls
3 servings of Potatoes Au Gratin
Macaroni Salad
Corn on the cob
Two slices of Applepie with Vanilla Ice Cream
6 Fitz's Cream Sodas
Chips
Around 10 mini candy bars & a couple servings of M&Ms
Dang, that looks alot worse written down than it did when I was eating it! Well, tomorrow it's back to Chicken Breast, Tuna, Salad, etc...so that combined with the treadmill and I should be back to normal weight soon.
Destiny April 24th, 2005, 10:10 PM When I saw the title of the post I was like yeah right, I bet my cheat days blow this one away. Then I read it. You beat me by far (hehe). Enjoy it and don't look back. Cheat days rule! ;)
don_1987 April 25th, 2005, 04:34 AM To be totally honest, I don't know what you ate :d_tongue: But I do know some stuff you've mentioned; chips, candy bar and M&M and the bacon cheeseburger. Aside from that, I don't know what you've just ate :d_biggrin
But anyway, there are alot of threads here discussing their cheat day and it all boils up to one thing, they're stuff, full, bloated and so on. :p
Cheat day is fun, they even have a cheat day contest at BB.com, but personally, since I started my Max-Ot program a few weeks ago, I don't think I'll be having a full blown binge session in the near future. :db:
I'm not restricting myself to any type of food and I'm also not counting calories, yet. But I think it took the heavy weight off my shoulders, I don't feel so stressed up anymore. The result, I don't binge anymore, or in some term, "cheat day". I hate to say this, but cheat days are just planned binge, but no matter what, you still binge :( It may not harm your long term fat loss goal, but it sure makes you look/feel worse the next day :d_tongue: Doesn't it?
JoeSchmo April 25th, 2005, 06:02 AM Not bad....not bad at all, but I still think Supirman holds the record. (http://forums.johnstonefitness.com/showthread.php?t=13487&page=2&pp=30)

Supe's cheat "day" was awesome, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here, Zhornitskiy is still king of the cheat meals....
129.4 ounces (Over 16 cups) of mayonnaise in 8 minutes
Regular Mayo:
1575 calories per cup
25,300 calories in 8 minutes, which dwarfs Kobayashi's hot dog record in terms of calories, but regardless, Takeru is the man, can't wait to see him break 60 dogs this summer.
53 1/2 Hot Dogs in 12 minutes (Current record)
16,532 calories in 12 minutes...

Sonya 'the black widow' Thomas ate 11 lbs of cheesecake in 9 minutes.
If we were to use a conservative estimate of 1 cheesecake (881 grams) being 4930 calories, according to fitday.com (I'm almost 100% sure those restaurant cheesecakes are even more), an 11 lbs serving would equal a mere 27979.568 calories.
To top it off, sonya thomas is about 105 lbs...
She's my hero!

But Sonya couldn't do half of what Kobayashi did last year at Coney Island ;) AND Takeru is only about 25 pounds heavier than her (131)
Now the cheesecake argument is valid in terms of calories eaten, but I think most of us could eat a couple pounds of cheesecake and not vomit our guts out from the taste, but eating an entire 32 oz jar of regular Hellmans would probably be much more difficult, coupled with the fact that Zhornitskiy claimed to not even like mayo, so in my mind over 8 pounds worth of mayo in 8 minutes from a person who doesn't even like the taste, is just so disgustingly amazing to me...
Skoorb April 28th, 2005, 11:48 AM I seriously respect supirman for that gluttony. My cheat days are normally 4000-4500 calories in length, but I don't start until lunch time or so and I'm not "trying" to put calories down. Most I've ever had in a day is probably 5000 calories. I could do 6000-7000 if I TRIED, but I think supirman enjoys it, and 6k for me would be nasty.
In any case I've lately been feeling hungover (not from booze) after eating tons and tons for supper. I get gross the next day.
don_1987 April 28th, 2005, 10:22 PM Agree with Skoorb! The best time to consume your cheat meal is after lunch :tu: I just did yesterday, and I didn't ate anything after my cheat meal, just drank tons of water. I didn't eat because I wasn't hungry, I've read somewhere that after a cheat meal, the meal in your stomach can last up to 9 hours, and so it did. I woke up this morning less bloated compared when I have my cheat meal at night.
By the way, my stomach was bloated at midnight, went to the bathroom and the bloatedness was gone :p By the way, eating your cheat meal early in the day also gives your body the opportunity to burn some of those extra calories...
ltz April 30th, 2005, 02:29 AM Speaking of gorging yourself, on Wendesday I had my cheatmeal. I ate: 11 slices of pizza (basically 1.5 large pizzas), an order of cheesey bread, a small order of mozzarella sticks and finished off with a bowl of ice cream. For drinks I just drank water, I'm not a fan of juice nor soda. As for water retention, I didn't seem to notice any the next morning, even though I still wasn't hungry the next day. :P
Honestly, I do not understand how I can eat so much in one sitting at will. I never ate like that when I was bigger.
Boxer-in-training April 30th, 2005, 04:54 PM I love this thread, so comical. I can pack it away as well on a "cheat day." You would think it was my last meal and I was never going to eat again. Last cheat meal was like 5 slices of pizza, 2 large blueberry cream cheese danishes, 1 medium butterfinger blizzard from DQ. about 15 pieces of Baklava and several chocolate chip cookies. I felt sick, but enjoyed it.... :o
Cheat meal the week before was an entire half gallon of icecream - in one sitting. I can't believe I am confessing this on here. I would never tell anyone else this. LOL Binge eater. I am all or nothing. :D
TheRyanator April 30th, 2005, 09:40 PM Ok, so as long as we are all sharing...I feel pretty sick, just got home from cheat meal.
My Cheat day started last night at 8:30 p.m. and ends right now at 7:30pm the next day. In the course of the last 23 hours I have eaten:
-1 LARGE bowl of MAC and CHEESE AND CHEESE from Noodles and Co. restaurant.
-5 chocolate carmel turtles
-6 Reisen chocolates
-30 gummy bears
-small portion of movie theater popcorn
-1 sprite
-1/2 an avocado and 14 corn chips (guac)
-two egg whites
- 5 cold cuts of ham and 2 slices of cheese
-1 12 oz. gatorade
-Serving of cheetos
-2 chocolate chip cookies
-2 large plates of my favorite salad at Sweet Tomato
-1 slice of pizza
-More mac and cheese, 1 large serving
-1 cereal bowl sized sundae with fudge brownie, oreo, ice cream, the works!
-I know I am leaving a few things out...like the 8 oz. skim milk i had today.
Now I am sick because I ate too much ice cream...a bit lactose intolerant.
Hell yeah! This was a great cheat day, it makes egg whites and broccoli and chicken and broccoli for dinner all week worth every bite of stomach turning goodness. I just hope those love handles dont grow too much tonight while I am asleep.
