Most of the shakes I have seen on here (I did a search) seem to have alot of sugar or fats in them. I try not to mix fat and carbs, and I dont want a high sugar shake. I dont mind healthy fats as long as there isnt alot of carbs or sugar in it. Any thoughts?

All The Whey, personally I prefer chocolate, toss in either a tablespoon of flax oil or Omega 3/6/9 oil, then add as much of a banana as you need to get the carbs where you want them - or if you need no carbs at all, skip the banana. This works great. I've used this recipe about a zillion times since starting out 2+ years ago.

All The Whey (Chocolate is good, the new Chocolate Mint is pretty awesome as well) + unsweetened soy milk. Soy milk has less carbs than milk, none of the nasty stuff milk has (or the good stuff, but you can get that elsewhere), plus soy protein.

I drink Twinlab Chocolate Fudge Whey Protein (the chocolate fudge makes it sound sooo bad..lol) and pour a 1.5 cup of milk, 1 banana, and 1.5 scoops of protein into a food processor and make a nice shake out of it.
I bought mine on eBay.

I use Jay Robb egg white and whey protein powders. They have no sugar, fillers or artificial garbage. He uses Stevia to sweeten it and it tastes incredible. His Site is www.jayrobb.com. You can also buy it at some health food stores. The stats for the egg white protein are: 100cal/2tbsp-0F1C24P. The whey: 113 cal 1F4C24P
I'm not sure how low you want your carbs or how high your protein, but my favorite recipe is:
1/2c 0% plain Greek Yogurt
1 scoop Chocolate Whey
1/2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
1c frozen cherries
230 calories--2gfat 25g carbs 33g protein
If it's too many carbs take out the cherries and just use ice.

I have been making some protein drinks with egg whites, and skim milk a couple of packets of Splenda, some cinnimon and or vanilla, They are pretty tasty similar to egg nog kind of feel but with good amount of protein and not all the extra stuff. It's a nice change from the standard whey and water shake.

I am currently experimenting with with plain (unflavoured) protein powder. I just felt like a break from the artificial sweeteners. Here are the current favorite recipies.
1 cup skim milk
1 scoop plain protein powder
1 tbsp presweetend Koolaid (approx 10grams garbage carbs)
Or 1 tbsp chocolate sauce (home made).
That's right good old fashioned koolaid. I use this for right after a work out, ie the best time to have fast absorbing carbs. If I need more carbs I add honey or a heaping tbsp of Quaker Oat Bran for some slow burning carbs.
Other recipie is Orange Creamcicle. Same as above just use vanilla flavoured protein powder and orange koolaid.
Chocolate sauce is home made. I can control the sugar and quality of cocoa.
1/2 cup each cocoa powder, sugar, water.
Bring to boil in small sauce pan over med heat, reduce heat and simmer for 3-5 min uncovered stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and add 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract or cocoa liquere.
this is great for making chocolate milk (when I need a chocolate fix!!)
Can you tell I have a sweet tooth.
