Hi guys!!!

It has been a fruitful journey for me so far...

Since I started with this "life-changing" decision to be healthier, almost everything has been positive...physically, physiologically, emotionally...I couldn't have been more right in choosing this path...

With that, I am posting my most recent pics (taken last March 27, '05), together with my first pic taken 3 weeks after I started working out on March 16, '05.

I know there is a long way to go before I get to where I want to be (I've always wanted to have that cross between the body of Will Smith and LL Cool J...hahahaha!! :D ) So, this doesn't stop here...am determined to keep doing this as long as am physically able :db: ...but as it is right now, am quite proud of the progress I’ve achieved and the hardwork I’ve put into it!

One last note...I owe much of the knowledge and motivation from this forum, so thanks guys!!! :claplow:

And to John, a heartful thanks all the way from the Philippines! More power to you, man!

The fact that he is 5'6 is good news but the weight is something I am wondering about. My original goal weight was 180 but I know I am going to want to get lower. If I could look like he does in his after pics at around 165 I'd be very happy. Genetic differences aside that is.

The shoulders look great! What have you been doing for them over the year?

Work on getting those Lats a little wider through pullups/pulldowns. Both LL and Smith have fairly wide lats.

Great job!

thanks emilio!! am at 150 lbs. right now...and trying to bulk clean!! my goal is to go back to 160lbs. (pre-transformation weight) but without all the flabiness :D i want to gain that 10lbs. of lean mass before the year ends (a realistic goal for the next 8 months, don't you think?)
anyhow, thanks again...and good luck on your goal, man!!

and it makes me glad (as with other more "senior" members in the forum) that guys as young as you wants to start getting healthier this early...glad to know you wouldn't want to reach your 30's before starting on this journey :tu: good luck!!!

thanks man!! :) i kind of like how my shoulders responded over the past year...although am blessed to have had good shoulder base to begin with (the years of push-ups kinda helped, i guess), i mainly did military presses, dumbbell presses, front raises and side raises to bring them to where they are now....modesty aside, most of the compliments i get were on my shoulders and arms :o

you hit it right on the nail's head kmfisher...am currently focusing on my pecs and lats right now...i could only do few unassisted pullups right now but am trying to compensate with lots of pulldowns...goal is to reach 15 unassisted pullups (in good form) in 2 months :flex:

thanks again!!

You really have reason to be proud of your accomplishment thus far--
If you make similar progress over the next year you'll be getting your picture posted in that perfect body thread on this site when next spring rolls around. Keep up the good work.
