View Full Version : Duckman...supirman...where Ya'll At?
TheRyanator Wed, April 20th, 2005, 10:02 AM I have noticed over the last months the absence of a couple members who were always great contributors...you all still out there?
I know Supirman was getting ready to get married, it would be good to hear how that going.
Duckman...well he was just a really funny dude from the Norway.
Hope to hear from you guys!
karatetricker Wed, April 20th, 2005, 10:22 AM Supirman was banned.
Duckman, I have no idea.

Supirman was banned?
Interesting

TheRyanator Wed, April 20th, 2005, 11:45 AM Dang, that sucks that Supirman said all that crap to get himself banned...would have expected more out of him!
I appreciate John's efforts to keep this board clean and worth being part of. I am part of several other boards and this is the best by far, and the others are often just a bunch of immature people talking and making crude jokes...its refreshing not have that here. Thanks John!!
Duckman?
Mahdimael Wed, April 20th, 2005, 12:48 PM Duckman is probably just now digging himself out of the winter snows ;)
He was cool, dunno what happened to him
don_1987 Thu, April 21st, 2005, 12:33 AM Sorry for bringing this topic up again, but I just noticed that it seems that Supirman intentionally wants to get himself banned from the forum. Don't you think so? Just look at his replies, I'm sure he can say something better, but he choose to say nasty things... Doesn't it seems obviuos? Any thoughts?

I thought the same thing when it happened. Maybe it was the fiance getting him off the pc. . . . :D
You have to protect those login accounts folks if you know whats good for you! :p
PeteBDawg Thu, April 21st, 2005, 11:36 AM I think it's best if we just sort of let it lie, or, at the very least, discuss it outside of the forums, by PM or email. We all appreciate that there's a very good, very disciplined environment here, that's one main reason we all have such a good opportunity here to help each other.
If this were just a social group, that's one thing, but this website exists for an expressed purpose which is hard enoughfor some people as it is, so it's important to prioritize keeping the environment as safe as possible. And I think that includes putting stuff like this behind us and not dwelling on how or why disciplinary decisions were made (which is a huge waste of resources and force for chaos on other forums).
Supirman broke the rules after being warned, so his forum privileges were revoked. That's really all there is to it. Let's move on to something else.
Duckman, I believe, actually designed the John Stone logo (I could be wrong), so it's a shame he's not around to get a t-shirt. But he's a really active guy, and there have been long breaks in his participation before.
A worldwide "hunt for Duckman" might be fun - with JSFers sending in photos of people around the world they think might be the mysterious Duckman. But I think that might be just a little too zany for the crowd ;)

and to go against my agreement with pete, i'll bring up that supirman did get kicked off on purpose (or at least thats the impression i got from talking to him). These forums, for some reason, are VERY addicting. And i visit far too much while at work, and so did supir.
I've tryed to get john to block my work address, but he just laughed at me for having no self control. i agree with him, but it wouldv been nice to be kicked off. :D
how come no one mentioned LemonSong? I know that he got burnt out from fitness after doing swole's program for a month, but i thought he was going to get back into it.

Indeed I do :tu:
I try to check in from time to time, but I'm not as active as before. I'm currently staying in Vancouver, Canada, hoping to get a job here. Both because I've always wanted to work outside Norway....and...yes...there's a chick involved ;)
It seems like I have a pretty good chance at a new opening at www.tugboatmedia.com as web developer. That would be really awesome, cause they seem to be a really interesting company to work for, so I'm crossing my fingers here.
PeteBDawg: I designed this whole site, not only the logo :tu:
If someones interested, you can take a look at my brand new portfolio website here: http://portfolio.dwpg.com
I've been a bit lax on the workouts lately, and have gained a bit...but not much(Im at 82kg now). As soon as I get a job and I can afford a membership at a gym, I'll start working out for real again - MaxOT 5 times a week :db:
Here's a pic from my 30th birthday one month ago....me and 22 others went to a place called Red Robin...best hamburger I have ever had in my whole life....including my own home made ones, so if anyone of you are from Vancouver, make sure to go there for your next hamburger extravaganza :eat:
