View Full Version : Coming Out Of Lurk Mode

Hi all! I feel like I know you guys through reading web blogs. My name is Beth, 47 years old, and I just completed a 12 week BFL challenge (had done one once before a few years ago) and I'm starting a 6 week min challenge starting tomorrow.

My 12 weeks results were pretty good, I dropped about 8 pounds and lost 11 inches (at least where I measured) I'm a skinny fat person, my bf% is to high and I carry most of my weight in the tummy area.

I plan to drop 4-5 pounds over the next six weeks then I'm off to Vegas for a week of relaxing with relatives.

After my vacation week I plan to do another 12 week challenge, hopefully focusing on increasing LBM with out gaining to much fat.

I love the focus on fitness and health here and hope to be able to join you Ladies

Good to see you here. I think the challenges you are doing are fantastic. They are probably pretty motivational. The only challenge I have is against myself, and that is pretty brutal.

Hi Beth.........welcome! It sounds like we're at about the same place. I'm in week 9 of BFL. I didn't need to lose weight - but want to get the body fat down. Once I'm through the 12 weeks, I want to concentrate on building a little more muscle. I still give in to cravings for sugar, but have almost completely eliminated the fast food.

Hi Beth,
It's cool that you have delurked. I am on day 24 of something very similar to BFL (While it is structured essentially the same, I can't really call it BFL anymore, having tweaked it a lot closer to Max O-T).
You are an inspiration for having finished a challenge, you know! :claphigh:
