Not a joke at all.

Your choices a re pretty straightforward - either wear skivvies or buy some boxer briefs.

I just work out in regular old skivvies and change into the boxers later. Got in this habit after trying to bike a few times in boxers - the chaffing was off the charts.

You're other choice would be a jock straps - but I'm not much of a fan of those - and it'd probably be overkill.

The other problem being is as you lose weight - the briefs usually stop fitting. I've gone through several sizes... sigh. A good thing though - I never complain when I find myself buying new briefs/boxers - in MEDIUM!!!

Wow, boxers can do that? I always thought guys were lucky to have more undie options. For us girls, it's just a range of panties-to-butt floss. Rarely comfortable unless baggy.

Try fabrics that cling less.

Under Armour makes underwear in a boxer brief style for men. I wear the female "booty short" style and could not be happier. They are soooooo comfortable and don't ride up. You might wanna try them out. :)

Switching to boxer briefs for workouts was one of the best decisions I've made in my whole fitness thing that wasn't directly related to getting results.

You can get them in gray, black, or blue if you don't want to think of them as modified tightie whities.

Not only do boxers ride up and chafe something awful, I found they also wore out really quick when I ran with them on the treadmill and got holes in them like nobody's business.

I second the UA suggestion, head over to your local sporting goods store and pick up a pair of "long" compression shorts from UA, they'll absolutely get rid of the chafing :tu:

Our classic compression short with an extended 10-inch inseam. Under ArmourŪ HeatGearŪ fabric and a moisture wicking waistband keep you light and dry when the action heats up.

dont, just plain old dont go for the silk ones for working out...in general they make me feel abit unprotected but for working out i gotta say they were the worst of them all....now i am a happy boxer brief wearer for workouts and all day :)
