P.S. Do you think i can look good for when its july 11th if i am dedicated with nutrition and exercise properly? ? ?
kmfisher April 13th, 2005, 04:00 PM As low as 0%, as high as 100%. j/k
I'd say 14%. Skinny, but not a lot of muscle.
To answer your question, that is 3 months. If you are dedicated to your diet and exercise, you can make huge changes to your body by then. But, you must be dedicated to both!

Hard to tell, but if were you I would start by attacking the weights for a bulking phase and doing some moderate cardio at least 4 days a week. I would also purchase some creatine and start drinking whey protien shakes on a daily basis to promote bulking. I guess it all comes down to what your goals are.
Obviously in a perfect world you would say shed body fat and add tons of muscle, but I would suggest just concentrating on one or the other for the next three months. Would you rather pack on the muscle and keep your body fat roughly the same, or drop the body fat and disregard significant muscle growth?
Either way a strict diet and exercise routine can, and will do wonders for your body over the next 3 months. Definitely not a bad starting point at all.

Forgot to post my guess for you bf% - I would guess somewhere in the 15-16% range just because I workout with somebody who has nearly an identical physique as you and he's at 16%.
OoOGazOoO April 13th, 2005, 04:53 PM The past four months have been hell for me really, i fell off a horse and injured my hip quite badly, docs said i would get better in 2-3 months yet i havent gained proper mobility again until around 3 3/4 months. I started jogging again on tuesday and suprisingly i lasted for a total of 31 minutes which really suprised me.
I really want to get my body fat down and so i can see my abs again, it was only in february that i could see some abs, my body seems to have changed so much recently.
I am going to do this guys, i am going to go for getting that body fat down, i will post my progress probably after a month to see how i am doing and to maybe assess things.
Thanks for your replies so far guys!
Vincent April 13th, 2005, 05:44 PM So you used to see your abs and you don't anymore, but I don't think it's so much a body fat issue. I am sure I have at least as much body fat, yet my abs show more and look bigger, in particular the line between abs/obliques and the line in the middle of the abs.
But this being said, I have a "gut" on the lower abs (although it gets much smaller these days).
So... compared to what I know, I wonder if because of your injury you have wasted some muscle? That can happen if you were inactive for a period.
In which case you would need to rebuild muscle, not to diet for fat loss, which seems to be the opinion of many in this thread.
I am not a qualified coach or anything, it's just my feeling on seeing your pic. Just an opinion. Seek better advice. ;)
Vincent.
