Hi guys, you may remember from about a month ago when I inquired about a swimming workout. I just got my pictures back from spring break, and I thought I would share with you my story of losing 100 pounds over the span of about 2.2 years. During the fall of 2002 I was busy playing football and I weighed 280. After the season was over, I decided to start lifting a lot, and I went into my senior season about twice as strong weighing around 240. I continued to play football, I succeeded enough at the high school level to warrant the chance to play at a D-1 AA college (Northern Iowa.) When I arrived here at UNI football and I did not mesh well together and I quit mainly on the account of the importance that I place on my grades, which is mainly a product of my aspirations to become a lawyer. For the previous two years I had always said that once I was done with football I would be done with my excess weight as well. On September 20th, I weighed 242. This morning I weighed in at a lean 183. I am six foot four and a half, and I recently has my body fat tested by a professional Tanita monitor to be 6.7% I know that monitor not to be 100% accurate, but I would imagine it to be within .5%-1% of my real BF% I am currently on a quasi bulk/maintenance phase until summer when I plan to do a moderate bulk and then cut before school starts up again in mid-August. While I still have a little bit of loose skin on my stomach (I don't have a defined six-pack) I have reduced my body fat to as low as is healthy and if I do not see a six-pack for awhile at this BF% I will just have to accept that I may never have one. I discovered this site on February 1st and it proved to be very advantageous to my endeavors. I am providing pictures, and if anybody has any questions or inquiries for me I will be happy to answer them.

The first one is what my face looks like now (I am 19)

The second one is from spring break

The third ( I am furthest left) is from when I weighed 280.

The fourth is from my graduation (with my cousin) when I weighed approximately 240.

The fifth is from spring break as well.

Don't go back to where you were, great change. you could bring it back to 195-200lbs slow with weights.

Good work - must feel great. How did you trim down so much? What's your secret (s) ?

Congrats,

Just be truly honest with yourself and log everything you eat and everything else will take care of itself.

Congrats! I wish I looked like that. I am currently ~175 from 235 and only hope I can look as awesome as your transformation has turned out. Thanks for the motivation!
