I noticed this yesterday and today - my stomach fat is not as 'firm' and my jiggly I guess - jelly like. I am lighter but I did feel my pants were a little tighter then last week and I think its because of this. Any ideas?

Jiggly is usually a good sign that you're losing fat, that it's breaking down.

When i was starting out my stomach fat was tight and firm. Now it's like a waterbed. I can actually feel the little globules of fat underneath the skin instead of just solid lumps of fat.

I think you just keep cutting and waiting. It all works out in time.

That's what I'm going through now homie. I hope it passes...

But then again, this is the year when the Jokers are wild :spaz:

It's a good sign that your fat stores are breaking down. Keep it up!

I think this is right -- it's happening to me, now, too. I hope it's right, and it makes sense. Please let this be right, please let this be right!

I promise. It works in reverse too. Ive just gone from reasonably tight and fairly ripped to the same jiggly fat by putting on several pounds.

Yeah-this is true. I've found that when fat is first gained it comes in this form.

when fat cells are used for energy, energy is released, and water and CO2 are by products

When I read your post I thought to myself "that sounds exactly like what has happened to me." I had maxed out at about 205 lbs, and was getting pretty pudgy. On the way down to my current 183 it seemed like i first lost from my legs and face and everywhere except chest and stomach. The last few weeks, my weight loss has stayed at the same slow rate i have been shooting for, but phsyically my stomach feels "looser" and "squishier". I am very relieved to hear that this has happened to others during their cuts. I have read that in males mid section fat is usually the last to go, and I am hoping that this is a sign that the last ten lbs or so that I lose will be coming from this area.

My doctor a few years back explained why belly fat was the last to go. He said that fat is lost in layers all around in an equal fashion. Face, arms, chest, stmach, legs etc. That is why you really dont notice a difference losing two pounds (even though two pounds is alot of fat!) .

Since the tummy has more fat - the other layers have to go first before getting the belly fat.

Makes sense to me. Especially after seeing before after pictures from a long duration - definitly an see the layers becoming smaller.
